Create, edit, or delete feedback alerts
Create feedback alerts to automatically let staff know when an item of feedback comes in which requires attention.
If you have the Recover module, feedback alerts activate your rules for assigning customer feedback to specific Rant & Rave users at your organization—learn more about managing rules for assigning feedback.

Open the Rant & Rave Dashboard.

Click Settings.

Click Alerts.
You'll see a list of your existing alerts.
Create a feedback alert
From your list of existing feedback alerts:

In the Create alert section, click Begin to start the Alert wizard—it will guide you through the process of creating an alert.
Once you've started the Alert wizard, you can click Back to move back a step at any time.

In the Description field, enter the title of the alert and a brief description.

Click Continue.

In the Criteria section, select the filter presets which will generate an alert. You can select any number of filters.
If you don't see the filter you need, click Add individual filters to create one; select the field type to filter, enter the value, and click Add to save.

Click Continue.

In the Recipients section, select the users who will receive the alert. You can select any number of recipients.
If you don't see the recipient you need or if they're not a Rant & Rave user, click Create an external recipient to add another user.

Select the communication channel via which each recipient will be alerted; the default channel is email.

Click Continue.

In the Content section, select the fields which you want to be included in the alert. You can select any number of fields.

Click Continue.

Review the confirmation section; this will give you a summary of the alert you just created.
If you see any changes need to be made, click Back and edit the relevant section.

Click Confirm to save the alert.

Click Save feedback alert.
Note: Users can now get email notifications when they receive positive feedback by setting up a "Good Feedback" alert. To enable this feature, raise a support ticket.
Edit a feedback alert
From your list of existing feedback alerts:

Find the alert you want to change.

Click the Edit
icon.

Make your changes.

Click Save changes.
Delete a feedback alert
From your list of existing feedback alerts:

Find the alert you want to delete.

Click
.

Click Continue to confirm.
